Data Storage
- Local Storage: Your business card data is stored locally on your device
- Firebase Cloud Storage (Optional): If you use Firebase sync features, your data is stored securely in Firebase:

- Stored in Google Cloud with industry-standard security
- Only accessible by you with your account credentials
- Image Optimization: All images are automatically compressed (1024px profile/logo, 1920px card images, 85% JPEG quality) to minimize storage and bandwidth
- Your Control: You have complete control over your data and can delete it anytime
Premium Features
- Free Tier: Limited to 5 business cards stored locally
- Premium Subscription: Unlimited cards, cloud sync, priority support, premium templates
- Payment Processing: Handled securely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- No Payment Data: We do not store or have access to your payment information
- Subscription Management: Managed through your App Store/Play Store account
Data Sharing
We DO NOT:
- Sell your personal information
- Share your contacts with third parties for marketing
- Track your activity across other apps or websites
- Access your data without your permission
We ONLY share data when:
- You explicitly choose to share a business card via QR code, NFC, Firebase link, or messaging apps
- You enable cloud sync via Firebase (data stored in your personal Firebase account)
- Required by law or legal process
Firebase Services
When you use cloud sync features:
- Data is stored in Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Storage
- Protected by Firebase Authentication
- Encrypted in transit using HTTPS
- Subject to Google Cloud's security standards
- Only accessible by you with your credentials
Permissions We Request
Camera
Purpose: To scan business cards using OCR technology
Usage: Only activated when you use the scan feature
Storage
Purpose: To save business card images and data locally
Usage: Stores all your contacts on your device
NFC
Purpose: To share business cards via NFC technology
Usage: Only when you initiate NFC sharing
Contacts
Purpose: To export business cards to your device contacts
Usage: Only when you choose to save to contacts
Internet
Purpose: To enable sharing via messaging apps, Firebase sync, and cloud features
Usage: Only when you choose to share a card or sync data
Vibration
Purpose: To provide haptic feedback for better user experience
Usage: For quick action gestures and confirmations
Data Security
We implement security measures to protect your information:
- All data stored locally with device-level encryption

Children's Privacy
CoCard is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

- Delete any or all of your business cards
- Export your data to standard formats (VCF, JSON)
- Delete your Firebase cloud data
- Cancel your Premium subscription at any time
- Request data deletion from our systems
- Uninstall the app and remove all associated data
